Metal Composite Material Panels
Metal Composite Material is two sheets of 0.020” coil-coated aluminum laminated on both sides of a thermoplastic core. Typically painted in a 2-coat solid, 2-coat mica, or 3-coat metallic with a standard off-white polyester wash coat backer.
Metal Composite Materials (MCM) originally started in the US nearly 50 years ago as Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM) but has evolved to it's new name with the addition of different skins. In addition to the traditional aluminum skins, MCM is now available in zinc, copper, stainless steel and titanium. Also, available in natural metal finishes, natural anodized finishes, wood look paint finishes, and weathered look natural metal paint finishes.
